Caustic soda output was 28.51 million tons, an increase of 6.3%; The output of soda ash was 21.82 million tons, an increase of 3.1%. The output of chemical fertilizer was 41.06 million tons, an increase of 1.2%; Among them, nitrogen fertilizer increased by 2.6%, phosphorus fertilizer decreased by 1.7% and potassium fertilizer decreased by 1.6%. The output of pesticides was 1.89 million tons, an increase of 11%. The output of rubber tire casing was 664.87 million, an increase of 16.4%. The output of calcium carbide was 21.54 million tons, an increase of 5.3%.
Among the key monitored chemical products, the prices of most products increased over the previous month. In September, the average price of caustic soda (flake soda) was 3250 yuan / ton, an increase of 9.1% over the previous month and 70.2% year-on-year; Soda ash (heavy ash) was 2570 yuan / ton, an increase of 14.7% over the previous month and 36.7% year-on-year. Urea was 2640 yuan / ton, a decrease of 2.6% over the previous month and a year-on-year increase of 55.3%; Domestic diammonium phosphate was 3600 yuan / ton, an increase of 1.1% over the previous month and 59.3% year-on-year. Calcium carbide was 5570 yuan / ton, an increase of 5.7% over the previous month and 104% year-on-year.
